Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We replaced a legacy ERP system when we purchased a small manufacturing facility as part of our vertical integration. We now use Acumatica for all elements of the manufacturing process.

Pros

  • Create custom GI / reports
  • Easy to navigate and customize
  • Tracks large amounts of data and allow us to look it up easily for each part

Cons

  • Initial implementation can be complicated without a VAR who knows your business.
  • Acumatica captures processes well, so if you have bad processes, your new ERP might really highlight those.
  • Sometimes a basic feature seems difficult to create, and the mobile features are not particularly useful currently.
  • After 18 months it's starting to stabilize and seem useful
  • Inventory is 1000% better now
  • Routing through our facility has been improving
12+ months
It's allowed us to continue working even after the old ERP aged out.
We use it for a small manufacturing facility we bought.

I've only seen it in a small scale manufacturing plant where most of the issues were process based and not ERP based. I think it can do far more than we need it to, and finding a good VAR was the real trick.
