We are in the process of updating from segregated systems into a utilizing a modern ERP. When we started it was a move from a dinosaur Accounting focused software. Our business was still using paper processing and the immediate advantage was shifting to a paperless office. The level of analytical data reporting available was limited. In less than a year we now have real time data transparency to assist the business in reaching its long term goals.

Move to paperless and the electronic processing of payments helped almost immediately. With data transparency we are also able to stay on top of the collection process.
We are still in the process of switching from periodic to perpetual inventory. Acumatica is helping us with this transition. Our business operates in the manufacturing space with thousands of custom builds for our product. Acumatica is able to handle the data and we hope once everything is in place to help improve our cash planning.
