Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
Mostly to track project costs and organizational GL. We are currently in the process of trying to expand the usage of Acumatica.
Pros
- Industry (construction) based focus
- Open connectivity to data
- Availability/growing number of integration partners
Cons
- Greater usability of the Report writer functionality (more like Salesforce).
- Open access for greater support by - aside from VAR/partner
- Easier comprehensive means of getting broad based field / schema information (aside from DAC)
- We are pretty new to Acumatica - we are now just starting to develop its success in terms of ROI
7-12 months
Since we have initially utilized / established the platform for its GL functionality - the initial focus has been internally focused.
As federal contractor, Acumatica has served us well for its focus on the construction industry. We will see how the platform will work within our professional services business units. However, there appears that there could be some potential limitations for security requirements in being able to serve the federal market.
