Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We use Acumatica to take care of all of our accounting ERP needs that we have, and we use it to integrate with Procore who does our project management, and so we need a system that is able to integrate back and forth between our accounting and our project management.

Pros

  • We just went live recently about two weeks ago, so we are here at Acumatica Summit to see all of the things that it's capable of. One of the things that it is capable of is the dashboards and the integration with some of these third party people to make sure we can get the data that we need when we need it, and so we're really looking forward to getting all that live for us.

Cons

  • We don't know too much yet as we're just now going live, but the customization that the thing that's nice about a software like this, you are able to customize it very well easily, but that takes a little bit of understanding to get to know that and so we're not quite there yet. That'd probably be my complaint, even though it's not really a complaint, it's just able to do too much for us.
  • Right now it's moving in the positive direction because we're able to get data out of it that we were not able to get out of our previous system.
Other
I think it's going to help us serve our customers better in the sense that we have all the data that we need at our fingertips and we can focus on the product that we're trying to provide them, which is the service of a building versus working so hard with our software to get the things we need out.
Acumatica works great for the construction industry because we have the ability to manage our projects and our cost codes specifically within there, and then they also have the ability to integrate with Procore, which are project management and they have all these other partners that make it work so well with the construction industry.

It is well suited because it appears to have been designed to work across multiple industries and we've kind of seen that it works well for the construction industry, but we've been here at Acumatica Summit and seeing a lot of other industries being able to use the same product, so they have designed it well
