Acrobat - your one stop shop for all PDF
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
On the usability side - Adobe is #1 for PDF everything. I primarily use PDFs in contracts that involve editing, redacting, signatures, and comments from various people. It's a great application for the overall management of your PDF files and collaboration with others. And after using it for many years, you become very familiar with the tools and their usage. The security side of Adobe is great. Locking down PDF files is a breeze. Creating forms is another great feature as I use that frequently.
On the business side, I resell Adobe applications to businesses. I also manage their business accounts. The business side of Adobe is great as it lets me manage all the billing, licenses, users, and applications in a single place for resellers. I couldn't ask for a simple interface to deal with and not have to jump through multiple screens and different login sessions to get things set up and completed for clients. The support is excellent. I can chat with support almost instantly. Phone calls are rare, but simple to get support on the phone when needed. I've never done email support, but who needs that when I can chat online with them.
Overall, I'd recommend Adobe over other competitors. Adobe invented the PDF and has been the leader since then and will continue to be the leader.

Volume pricing is always good in decision-making. The major factor in our decision was the ease of use, familiarity, and user demand (vs using competitor products that are lower prices, but feature lacking).
- Increased productivity and collaboration
- Increased security and compliance
- Meeting business objectives
Due to higher cyber-security liability requirements, end users require higher security in software. Adobe exceeds this goal in its Acrobat software. It gives the end users peace of mind that their PDF files are safe.
- Foxit PDF Editor (FoxitPhantom)
Foxit PDF is a strong competitor to Adobe Acrobat. However, users coming from older editions of Adobe don't like too much change and will want to stay with Adobe instead of changing to a new competing product. We did evaluate Foxit, but end users couldn't or didn't have the patience to grasp the tools and functionality of the application and wanted to just use Adobe.
