Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat is used as a final format in which documents and reports are circulated throughout our company. In it's un-editable version, it allows for standard viewing, with the file's format remaining neat and clean whilst scrolling up or down or zooming in or out. Alternatively, Adobe Sign is used for documents requiring a signature. This offers a "read only" version of a file but includes the ability to insert a signature or sign one's name with the use of a mouse or touch screen. It's compatibility and synchronization with every day tools such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel makes it the number one choice in our organization.

Pros

  • Standardizes file formats
  • Clean and neat view
  • Synchronizes with Microsoft Office tools

Cons

  • I have yet to detect, through use, any way in which the program should improve
  • Provides secure transmission
  • Enables a read-only format
  • Quick conversion to/from other programs
  • Ease of Use
Adobe Acrobat's range of products, which includes PDF and Sign (2 of the most popular tools accessed throughout our company) has 1 important factor in it's composition - "simplicity", which makes it easy for all staff to use regardless of level or experience, thereby saving a lot of time and effort.
As mentioned in previous points, secure transmission is one of the factors that we regard greatly within the Adobe Acrobat Suite of products. The program basically locks a template or format of a document or report, making it "read-only", and this feature prevents unauthorized altering or editing, something that we highly appreciate.
In comparison to Smallpdf and iLovePDF, inevitably, Adobe Acrobat is the most popular and higher marketed software. Additionally, Smallpdf and iLovePDF are online conversion software, so your document needs to be uploaded to a cloud where it is converted and then you need to download it to your PC. Adobe Acrobat is a program that is installed on your system, bypassing the upload/download process, making it faster to use. Additionally, Adobe Acrobat is synchronized into Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, which allows you to do everything from 1 program (example you use Word to type up a document, then save to PDF within the same program). Overall Adobe Acrobat remains the #1 tool to use and there is no other comparison.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

In this aspect I would like to elaborate on the way in which Adobe Acrobat is synchronized directly into Microsoft Word, thereby making it easy to save a file directly from Word to PDF format. This is the same within Microsoft Excel. PDF provides for secure transmission and circulation, which is beneficial for any company.
