Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
We are a large law firm with many users and types of work to be completed. Adobe Acrobat allows our users to make and edit PDFs easily and then send them out to be eSigned all in the product. There are many very helpful tools available in the app which adds to it's overall value.
Pros
- Editing PDFs
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
- eSign
- Easy to script upgrades
Cons
- In our experience, high overall user cost
- In my opinion, terrible contracts for customers
- Massive installer. Our most recent is over 3GB
- Increased productivity
- Included features are great
- Not having to pay for an additional eSign product is nice
- Ease of Use
- Other
Adobe Acrobat is "The" PDF app. Our employees know how to use it, and if they don't the required training is easy and intuitive. Adobe Acrobat knows that other products are simply not as good, even though they are sometimes much cheaper.
Adobe Acrobat is the gold standard and you pay for it. It is easy to use and works how you expect it to. The alternatives are cheaper, but don't offer as many features, and require retaining everyone to switch applications.
