Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
I use it to sign, combine & lock documents. I also use it as the final export for designing. I also use it to create forms for other departments to fill out and send to other people. It is the industry standard for what most people can open in & outside of the organization.
Pros
- Forms
- Security & locking up docs
- Exporting designs from design programs
Cons
- AI summary still needs improvement
- Could make creating forms easier
- Sharing docs can be more seamless
- Easier for sales people to create and send their own documents
- Less mistakes since things are locked down
- Only allow customization where you want it
- Ease of Use
Everyone in the organization has to use this without much training. So ease of use is the most important because adoption to the software or process is key in keeping things uniform and running efficiently. Also, people may not be the most tech savvy, so making it easy to use and learn without much IT support or a lot of questions make it easier for all departments.
Security is very important to our company and in sharing confidential information with our clients and partners, so knowing that Adobe is trusted and they have their own layer of security helped us in making the decision in using them. Also, they’re a name that everyone knows & is an industry standard, so it helps when we send important docs that people would trust the doc vs it being sent via a different software with an unfamiliar name.
- Aorato (discontinued)
I’m not familiar with any others like Adobe Acrobat. It’s really what I like to use the most & am most familiar with. It’s hard to think of any real competitors in the field that’s as robust other than individual home grown systems at financial or insurance companies that require extra security and protection.
