Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

We use Adobe Acrobat for creating and editing secure PDF document. It serves as a standard tool for document management which make sures consistency in sharing material internally in out team. We use it for merging reports, adding digital signatures and converting it various file formats into standard pdf and apply password protection for confidential information

Cons

  • The Adobe Acrobat desktop app is useful but is resource hungry it works great for Mac OS but will struggle for windows laptops
  • The user interface is quiet complex for basic task
  • The Adobe Acrobat app has significantly reduced the time spent on document preparation, review and approval, when we work in team we get all the primary features in one place without switching or exporting the document to other services which also maintains the document security. As I mentioned previous the app is powerful but has a steep learning curve for new users even I struggle with understanding which functionality is for what. Sometimes I still face issues with the icons as there are so many icons that look the same in the tool bar.
  • Cloud Solutions
For me the cloud accessibility and integration matter and is the single most important factor. Many times I do forget to save the files but the auto save feature is the best. It makes sure that with in small intervals and after every change the file is saved and I can access it on other devices with my sign in credentials.
With the Adobe Acrobat password protection it helps us secure confidential project data with files can be restricted to view only or no copy accesss reducing the risk of data leak
I selected Adobe Acrobat as i have been using it for quiet a long time and I have spend years using it and with a learning curve or other apps i dont want to learn a new service. Also Adobe Acrobat does all the work I have been doing for years

When working in a team we need to review and annotate the official document like project proposal or technical specification it helps in finalizing official documents and securing the document for professional deliverables. It also helps me in compressing large pdf files without 0 any major loss in the pdf quality
