Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC
We used Adobe Acrobat DC in a limited-scope project to test its capabilities. We had a need to modify our old PDFS and merge and combine some of them. We need to digitally sign the documents and protect them with a password as well. Adobe Acrobat DC is our default pdf application.
- Edit PDF
- Merge PDF
- Sign PDF
- Fill PDF
- The UI layout can be simplified
- The renewal reminder popups can be irritating
- There is no tutorial or step by step interactive learning
- Reliability
- Trust
- Timely Updates
- Increased Privacy and Safety of Documents
- Fewer clicks to get the job done
- Compliance with the local law
The reason Adobe Acrobat DC was chosen over free and online-based tools/applications is because of the Adobe security and compliance standards. Having it locally installed on the PC means that your document does not leave your organization. The timely updates and patches provided by Adobe mean that you are secured against known vulnerabilities.
