Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

We use Adobe Acrobat DC to manipulate artwork so we can get it ready for document composition for mail pieces, we flatten PDFs, move artwork around, add text and images, delete text and images, insert pages, reorder and rotate pages, change color profiles so they can be printed correctly and password-protect PDFs to name but a few of things we do.
  • Enables you to edit PDFs
  • Enables you to password protect PDFs
  • Enables you to change colour profiles, specifically change from colour to grayscale
  • The ability to impose documents 2up, 4up, booklets etc
  • Include the whole font set instead of just the characters displayed in the PDF
  • Improve flattening to make the PDF a single image
  • Editing
  • Changing colours
  • File size reduction
  • Flattening PDFs
  • The software has enabled us to win jobs on the basis we can use it to manipulate PDFs thus saving the customer the hassle of having to go back to their designers
The software is extremely versatile and enables you to edit PDFs whilst retaining the image quality as opposed to exporting the images and using 3rd party software to make design changes.
The function of being able to password protect your PDFs and the fact that metadata is also logged into the document properties enable us to ensure PDF integrity is maintained.

This software is particularly useful if you need to amend PDFs or add notes to PDFs for document composition in a design scenario. It is also useful to combine multiple PDFs into a single document or export PDFs into saying a word doc/image so they can be edited for users with access to Adobe Acrobat Pro.
