Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Currently, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is being used across the whole company, with every staff at the company having the program automatically downloaded onto their computer. It addresses the business problem of reading, filling, and editing forms that some all staff will naturally need over the course of their job.
  • Editing documents
  • Creating fillable/signable forms
  • Creating documents that will be seen by the public
  • Unable to export PDFs
  • Unable to edit PDFs
  • Limited features
  • Filling forms
  • Viewing PDFs
  • Ease of use
  • IT Team does not need to look for a paid solution
  • Easy sorting of PDFs allows staff to juggle multiple items at once
  • Ability to fill forms quickly lets staff not linger on one item
Other products I've used that are similar are Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Compared to the Pro version, the free Reader version still has a lot of features that will cover the needs of most staff in their day to day work. While we do need to use the paid version for certain teams, most staff are able to use Reader without any needs missing.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat Reader delivers good value for the price?

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat Reader's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat Reader live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat Reader go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat Reader again?

Yes

[Adobe] Acrobat Reader DC is well suited to teams that only need to fill out forms, or view PDFs. In those cases, it's cost effective for those staff to use the free version.
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is not as appropriate for teams that create forms and surveys that will be sent out to the public or externally, or anything that needs to have the upmost polish.
