Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is an important part of what I do. Many of the documents I create are converted into PDFs and I often use the program to read and edit documents sent to me. This program is reliable, moves quickly and is easy to navigate. The toolbars are clear and make doing your work easy and without frustration.
  • Creating PDF files through Adobe Acrobat Reader is a simple process and those docs are particularly useful for a company's website as linkable items.
  • When receiving a PDF file, it makes it easy to convert that document or edit it when necessary.
  • The program itself moves quickly and allows for easy reading of importan documents.
  • Would like a better way to organize all the files that show up on the home screen. Drag and drop folders where the headers can be retitled would be helpful.
  • When you click on some files under "recent," they say the file isn't available and can no longer be opened. If that's the case, it would clean up the home screen if those files names were automatically moved to their own folder or deleted.
  • The "clear recent" button at bottom seems to serve only to clean up the home screen. But I don't see another space where it captures all the PDFs in some way so I can see them. Some organized way to maintain headers to old PDFs would be nice.
  • Creation and exporting of PDFs
  • Docsign for contracts
  • Editing tools for PDfs
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC easily integrates with our suite of Microsoft-based programs we use, like Word, Teams, Outlook, etc. There's never any conversion issues, and never any need to take additional steps to ensure it works well with the other programs we use. That's a nice thing, because it makes it feel Reader is just part of the same group of programs and you don't have to worry about anything, especially when you have employees who might not be as computer savvy
  • Definitely increased efficiencies. We are able to move faster with documents with less hassle.
  • Security is improved as Reader creates documents that are more difficult to edit, so when we need something that's just meant to be read, this is our go-to.
  • It does reduce manual errors because once the docs are created, that text is static and not changing unless someone takes multiple steps -- you have to decide to make changes; there's nothing accidental.
I can't say that I've specifically seen an instance where Adobe's security/compliance DIRECTLY made a positive impact on data breaches and legal issues, but I will say this: We find that our email and other secure areas are constantly under attack by phishing scams and hackers. Our IT department is very often enacting new rules to keep our information safe. Not once have we had any breach issues or security increases necessary surrounding our Adobe software. It's been problem-free.

It works really well to create docs that are linkable from a website. We don't really want to put in Word Docs to link to because someone can just take that an easily edit it. Adobe adds in an extra layer of protection. Not sure it works as well when you're sending docs that you want feedback on, because it's more cumbersome to edit and make changes, but for static docs that are just meant to be read, this is perfect.
