Captivate is not really captivating
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate
Adobe Captivate was the first-course builder that Molina healthcare had, multiple business segments were using it for their training needs. It was being used when instructional design, especially when the instructional design was created as a methodology it was used company-wide for all business segments for all training to go online.
Pros
- Has built in animations and characters
- Has lots of presets
Cons
- It's very outdated; everything about it is outdated
- No support from adobe due to how dated it is
- No longer supporter
- Can't migrate content
It doesn't. Storyline is far superior in every way, the only reason I gave this is a five is that I know some organizations are still using it due to their size, but against the competition it doesn't stand a chance, I wouldn't recommend this as a buy. I mentioned earlier that it might be better to go with an authoring tool that some LMS systems like Lessonly have built-in.
