Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime

I've used Adobe Captivate Prime with a small preschool system of six schools I consult for. It's used with 100 employees to meet their professional development needs. It addresses their needs to provide consistent training across six locations that is accessible in a variety of ways.
  • Easily integrates with a variety of curriculum authoring products.
  • Easy for users to access on multiple devices.
  • Cost effective solution for small companies.
  • Very adaptable to adding or subtracting users as needs change.
  • Stable platform backed by Adobe support.
  • No easy way to generate hard copy certificates for course completion.
  • Not as cost effective as users increase beyond 2000 per month.
  • Better e-learning modules needed from Adobe to support authors and administrators.
  • Ability to provide immediate and consistent training and resources to staff for reopening after COVID without having them to be physically present and jeopardizing their health.
  • Many staff did not have computers at home during COVID-19 lockdown, so the ability to view courses on their smartphones was a godsend. 60 teachers completed a year's worth of coursework in one month's time during the lockdown.
  • Utilizing the LMS to update policies and resources in one central location that everyone can access has helped ensure that everyone is working off of the most current information.
I would definitely recommend it for small companies with less than 1000 users per month that do not have a strong technology department within their company. The monthly subscription rate per user makes it cost affordable to have a robust LMS without paying the upfront costs to build one and the ongoing support that a company like Adobe can provide. For larger companies with strong tech support, I would probably recommend they build their own LMS specific to their unique needs.
