Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime

We use it as our LMS tool. We keep track of new hires during the onboarding process and monitor Learning Programs and individual modules as needed. This particular tool is also used as a metric to measure present and future progress for different roles throughout our organization and the multiple divisions that we support.
  • Developing self paced learning modules.
  • Displaying tests and simulations.
  • Allowing end users to work at their own pace.
  • Reporting.
  • Tracking.
  • Metrics.
  • It helps folks get a better handle on core learning.
  • It allows users to move at their chosen pace.
  • It is expensive for the attainable features.
The few times that a question and or concern has been relayed to Adobe the results have been lukewarm at best. In more than one case we have reached out regarding issues with Adobe Captivate Prime and have not really received much in the way of a helpful response.
Adobe Captivate Prime is a much better tool for preparing self paced learning, simulation slides and or videos and tests as needed on a user by user basis. It allows for more flexibility in customizing the modules and Learning programs for multiple roles across the board. Overall it is a well suited tool for this usage.
For developing self paced training modules. This tool in general is less than helpful for reporting and tracking purposes. It is difficult if not entirely impossible to properly wring the details and or metrics from the raw data that is collected using Adobe Captivate Prime, regardless of which version is chosen.
