Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime

When choosing the right e-learning course design and content authoring software, there are a few choices. I like Adobe Captivate Prime because I am so used to using the other Adobe products to offer, such as Photoshop and Illustrator. When using Photoshop, it is easy to incorporate my files from Photoshop to Captivate, saving time and effort. I am using Captivate as a training element as I am practicing to create online courses. I do wish that it was part of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. It's a bit expensive compared to other competitors on the market. If this were part of the Creative Cloud subscription, that would increase users' market share using this great product!
  • Easy to incorporate files from Photoshop to Captivate.
  • Captivate has a significant VR (virtual reality) aspect of it.
  • It's an Adobe product that you can trust.
  • Expensive.
  • Not part of the Creative Cloud subscription.
  • Not many templates compared to Articulate Storyline.
  • Due to Covid19, ROI has been dreadful!
  • Expensive to own, institution would NOT consider it.
If you are used to using Adobe products, the switch-over is seamless. If you are not, then you may find a steep learning curve.
