Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime
Access4 use Captivate Prime for both our internal staff and our partners/resellers. It helps us deliver a high-quality onboarding experience to new partners so they can quickly become competent in our products and how to sell and deploy solutions.
- Modern user interface
- Easy content upload
- Flexible learning pathways and delivery options
- Underwhelming reporting with at times missing data.
- Courses and learning programs that can hide courses from the catalog and confuse learners.
- Manager dashboard isn't granular.
- Faster onboarding
- Higher customer satisfaction
- Reduction in support requests
The onboarding experience was really disappointing once the contract was signed. The customer success manager assigned took weeks to make first contact and only offered very robotic/rehearsed presentations to help get things started; nothing was tailored to our requirements or things we already knew or had actioned in the platform. In one meeting, I was told they were moving and would be unavailable for a week; I didn't hear from this individual again for a month. This resulted in having to fumble through things on our own, which slowed the deployment.
SAP Litmos is probably the closest in terms of feature set and price point. If you are in Australia, they also have local sales and support which upon reflection would have been beneficial. The look and feel of Litmos are not as modern as Captivate Prime but the content catalog is more robust.
