Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime
We use Adobe Captivate Prime to train people about how to use our software and certify them as Basic, Intermediate, Advanced or Expert Users. Trainees include primarily customers, but also partners and internal employees. Our products are complex and users must be reliably proficient as the products are used in live, on air broadcast. Traditionally, customers are taught to use the products via live training on their site. However, this is a significant expense for them. Being able to deliver good, useful training online helps our customers save money and ensure that all of their employees achieve the required expertise. Internally, delivering training with a pre-built online system helps employees advance more quickly to an expert level and allows them to do so efficiently, in small chunks of time, without blocking off entire days for training or associated travel.
- Allows managers to see at a glance the progress of trainees.
- Allows administrators to give varying levels of access for instructors, course creators, admins, managers and learners.
- Allows platforming of assets that may then be used in one or more courses.
- Allows blended courses, with online, pre-made content as well as live events or assignments.
- It would be great to be able to bulk upload assets, instead of adding them one by one.
- It would be nice to be able to do everything associated with creating a course or certification from one page, including uploading assets and images.
- It would be good to be able to designate someone as a manager, before they are have any learners with them as their manager, and allow them to upload/manually add students without making them an admin.
- The courses that we have on Adobe Captivate Prime have been a key driver in winning numerous major contracts, distinguishing us from the competition.
- These courses have helped our sales team, channel partners and resellers better understand the products themselves.
- The courses are helping us build a global community of freelance operators of our products, which also helps us sell in certain verticals.
We have sought help with bulk upload of users and integration with our Hubspot. Our operations team was able to successfully work with Adobe support. We allow learners to register through a form on our website. Registration triggers an automated email that gives the learner a unique link to the Adobe platform. We are happy with this workflow and appreciate the role that the Adobe team played in helping us implement it.
We evaluated several platforms for cost, reliability, ease of use and features. For our needs, Adobe Captivate Prime offered the optimal balance of reasonable cost and high-end features. Aside from ease-of-use for ourselves as we platform and manage courses, we wanted to ensure that the platform would be intuitive for learners, which it is.
