Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Marketo Engage

Our Marketing teams leverage Marketo to track data from customers' touchpoints across multiple external platforms through the open API. The robust API allows us to build custom connectors to port in customer profiles with all relevant information needed to enrich/create holistic profiles. As a result, it boosts our efficiency and streamlines our marketing initiatives.

The sole purpose of our Marketo instance, aside from data synchronization across multiple platforms, is to increase the transparency into inbound lead generation. Lead records are displayed in a clean and efficient manner with all relevant information readily accessible for consumption by all teams at our organization. One of the key features of Marketo is the option to reference historical changes in data on a user profile. This enables teams to effectively track the progression of a user's journey, updates in preferences, etc.
Every platform has its strengths and weaknesses. Marketo is a holistic marketing automation solution that checks the majority of the boxes when it comes to a one-stop shop for managing customer relationships and interactions. When we weighed the pros of the API architecture, smart campaigns/lists, triggers, and workflows, etc. versus the cons of the custom object limitations and reporting interface/accessibility, we determined it was a suitable solution to satisfy our business requirements.

Marketo is a streamlined and straightforward marketing automation solution that meets the majority of our lead collection and storage needs. Our organization serves the Event Services market and the majority of our customers, as well as our internal record collection needs, require data to be collected and passed in an external MAM/CRM.
