Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop
As an organization that makes a majority of our graphics for digital and print media in house, we use Adobe Photoshop regularly as one of the tools in our box for creative design. From quick and easy slides to more complex graphics projects Photoshop has been a huge win for our organization.
- Adobe Photoshop is an industry standard for graphic design and does its job well.
- For editing PDFs, JPGs, or creating graphics from scratch, Photoshop works like a charm.
- Photoshop has a selection of quality tools and is easily customizable to suit your work style.
- There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to Photoshop that can cause new users to struggle.
- Sometimes Photoshop rolls out new updates that feel like they can throw off workflow until you get used to them.
- Photoshop doesn't work natively in Vectors which can be an issue for scaling graphics.
- Ease of use.
- Quality tools for graphics creation.
- Ability to manipulate multiple file formats.
- Photoshop has significantly increased the quality of our in house graphics.
- For a number of users, Photoshop was easily accessible and training went smoothly.
- The one downside has been the lack of ability to work in vectors.
Photoshop is a quality with a number of solid features. For graphic design, Photoshop works incredibly well. As for ease of use, for many Photoshop seems easier to pick up than Illustrator. The bonus of Illustrator is that it works with vectors rather than rasterized images. Canva is another graphics design option that is free and easy to use, but lacks the customization that you have with Photoshop.
