Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop
I use [Adobe] Photoshop on a regular basis for photo editing and cutting out backgrounds. It's also used to make up graphics sometimes, such as social media posts and flyers.
- Quick actions - background removal is one I often use and it's very handy to have
- Mask and layers - standard stuff, but great tools nonetheless
- A decent text editor esp since that's not really what Photoshop is for
- Vector drawing - I've always had a bit of trouble with this in [Adobe] Photoshop and prefer to use Illustrator though many designers like using PS for it
- The ability to remove backgrounds from a number of different types of images as well as backgrounds that aren't just plain one color
- Color correction
- I used to outsource background removals from headshots which cost varying amounts depending on the contractor, but since it's one click with PS, I save money there
- I'm not crazy about the subscription model and used to have regular CS6 which wasn't a monthly fee, but the features are definitely worth it
