Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It helps us stay up to date with all the continuous changes happening every day. The covid pandemic threw us for a loop like every other company and ADP SmartCompliance was a great resource for us to stop on top of all of the changes. I'd recommend it to any smaller company that doesn't have an onsite tax specialist position.

I wish the reports would download faster. It can take a few mins for a 941 to download.

Integrations

We exported Microsoft great plains data into ADP and it was a bit of a headache matching everything with their GSI. Once it was integrated, we continued to have issues with new states and mapping issues in SQL so I wouldn't recommend using this software with Great Plains again.

It's a great resource and a wealth of knowledge but can be tricky finding the right information because everything in the tax world does change so frequently. You really need to check the dates of articles to make sure you have the most recent information. ADP is helpful for smaller businesses.
