Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use ADP SmartCompliance to process all of our tax returns and filings, process our pay statements and to process all garnishments as well as EE Verifications and Unemployment Claims.

Pros and Cons

Printing and Publishing Paystubs
Informing us of tax updates or necessary updates required.
Processing Garnishments

Agency Notices, in my experience, we receive more than a normal amount of incorrect responses.
Invoicing
Communicating better in their agency notices and providing more details in my opinion.

It has kept us informed on new and upcoming changes in certian taxes, or new taxes that needed to be implemented.

Oursource partners is the only other company that I have used in my dealings with tax and payroll. Both are pertty comparable however ADP SmartCompliance does have the years of experience behind them as for Outsource partners is a fairly new vendor.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is very helpful to have them process all of the tax returns, however I've found it is an added time managment issue on our side. In my experience, even though they do fairly well, it does take alot of review to ensure both systems balance and the responses we receive are adequate.
