Overall Satisfaction with ADP SmartCompliance

After purchasing Workday for our in house payroll, we learned that Workday could not handle the reporting needed for our quarterly and annual tax filing. ADP tax now files our payroll taxes.

Pros

  • Training
  • Automatic syncing
  • There are a lot of reports available

Cons

  • It can be difficult to find the reports you are looking for.
  • When using the excel downloads on reports, it would be better if they were easier to work with. Too many page breaks and headers makes it difficult to sort through large files to narrow information.
  • We've had some problems with returns getting filed correctly.
  • This does appear to be getting better nowadays

We had a bad experience with our account manager. Difficulties responding to questions. Being new and trying to learn, this made things very difficult. We do now have a new account manager and questions are being answered.
