Why Vantage HCM? Why not?
Overall Satisfaction with ADP Vantage HCM
ADP Vantage is being used by Payroll for the entire organization. With multiple pay groups it streamlines our processes when we have to upload commissions, etc. as one file, and it knows where to go. Able to see all employees, without having to know the pay group they are in. Transfers without having to add information.
Pros
- No matter the number of companies, you can get information quickly without having to pinpoint that info 1st.
- Great reporting capabilities.
- Continued upgrades as this is ADP's future.
Cons
- Need to upgrade their manual check process in a BIG way.
- Need to better test before deployment.
- Allow the company to make the adjustments when filing amendments, rather than filling out that form. Less time and less error.
- Positive - set pricing per month - no matter the number of payrolls run and support needed.
- Once batches, interfaces, reports are set up, it can be automatic. Uploads are done and the batch setup works, no need to do each time.
- Custom programs and changes are costly.
We actually use both.
ADP is easier to program in terms of entitlements. Vantage is also user friendly, it has intuitive uses.
Ceridian T&A is great for retailers, robust but with a higher learning curve. It does require training, Ceridian's support is very different than ADP. You get a 1st come 1st serve, which is not beneficial to the employer. They do not see you holistically, while ADP provides a dedicated rep for large clients 1000+.
