Overall Satisfaction with

We use to protect O365 email and SharePoint sites for a few regional offices. IT team has admin access to the system (managing backups and executing restores). Regular Office 365 users have access to afi self-service portal that enables them to recover their own data without having to ask the IT guys.
  • Data recovery process is very fast.
  • Offline data export starts immediately, without export link generation & etc.
  • Self-service for end-users saves a lot of Helpdesk time..
  • reporting api could be more granular
  • Integration with PAX8 is missing
  • This solution allowed us to meet compliance requirements as well as reduce the load on IT Helpdesk team 3x.
Slow, very limited Microsoft Teams support.
Support is very technical and always eager to help us. The support team's responses are mostly relevant, with no generic/automated answers that would waste our time. The company's online product documentation is very clear and to the point; it answers most of the user questions in a detailed and clear manner.
Fast and clean user interface, most settings are intuitive. Our regular users are able to restore their own data using the self-service portal without any training.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Exchange is perfect for quick data recovery. It is very easy to find specific email, or chat message in teams that needs recovery. Speed of recovery is very fast. They provide the most detailed support that we know of (we can back up and export Team 1-1 chats, Channels and their attachments).


300 - Information Technology team are the main users of the product, in addition some of our users access the application when they need to restore or export data from their accounts.
1 - The service basically does not require a dedicated support. Once we have installed it to the domain, the backups run automatically with no errors or warnings so far. When Microsoft 365 was down afi put backups on hold and resumed them when M365 came back online, so we did not have to do anything.

  • We archive 365 users by deleting them from Microsoft 365 and keeping their backups in afi.
  • Long-term retention of SharePoint data.
We will continue to renew the service for as long as we continue to use MS 365, unless Microsoft will release native Office 365 backup that provides all necessary features, including multi-geo admin roles, long-term affordable archiving storage tier, auto-conversion of email formats (MBOX, EML etc), point-in-time preview of previous file versions.
