Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense
In my role I use AlphaSense for on-going monitoring of the competitive environment for the disease areas we focus on. The dashboards provide a quick and up-to-date view of the latest news from a plethora of sources that ensures most perspectives are covered.
Pros
- Source information from various types of sources
- Easy set up of searches and monitoring alerts
- Clear overview of what information is new
Cons
- Management of dashboard in terms of marking information as read/not read
- Adding possibility to tag information for internal dashboards
- Availability of all information in just one subscription (no additional features as add-ons)
- Very deep insights in the evolving competitive landscape
- Broad range of sources allows for a very complete picture of the areas we are assessing
The real-time information allows us to be really on top of what is happening in the environment we operate in.
In my experience, AlphaSense has a much broader and more accessible reach than other solutions like Global Data or Cortellis

Easy to use. Very intuitive. Great training and support from the AlphaSense team.
We have looked at some other sources but they generally cannot provide the level of tailoring or depth of research without additional costs. Being able to set up our own searches really helps in getting everything we want about the rare diseases we are interested in.
