Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx

We handle a lot of data. We need to do so accurately, consistently, and efficiently. Since we have been using Alteryx, we have been able to re-platform and (massively) improve existing processes as well as introduce new ones, many of which are available to colleagues on a self-serve basis. Processes that used to take a day, now take minutes, while we have been able to handle data in a level of detail that we were unable to do previously. Scheduling a simple App to check data has already saved us thousands. Moreover, I love developing on Alteryx; it is intuitive, flexible, and enjoyable to use.

  • The reconciliation process generated £10m+ from two days worth of automated processing. Previously, this would have taken weeks/months to achieve.

Our Alteryx proof of concept was to create a reconciliation process handling large data sets (~1 million to ~1 billion). This used to take many hours and in some cases, days. These can now be completed within minutes with much greater accuracy.

Alteryx Support

The Alteryx Community is great and quick to have some assistance through. The Designer offers examples for most tools to allow you to understand how each works. There is also plenty of learning material on the Community learning portal to help you get started.

Using Alteryx

The one downfall that I find with Alteryx is that the App interface is not as flexible as the rest of the platform. This precludes it from becoming the platform of choice for some tools/processes that we have as they require a more interactive and visual interface. Otherwise, I love Alteryx.
