Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx Platform
Alteryx Platform is the go-to data management software for organizations that seek to maximize data management productivity without resorting to coding in R or Python. The ideal is to manage data by the data owners, not by coders who have knowledge of code but no knowledge of the organizational processes that generate data and transactions. Alteryx Platform is the best, current generation alternative for data management by the data owners.
Pros
- cleaning imported data
- ETL - extract transform load
- analytics - including predictive analytics
Cons
- better integration with AI tools
- data visualization
- ease of use - particularly in relation to the more advanced tools (e.g., text analytics, predictive modeling)
- time savings
- cost savings
- revenue generation for CPA firms and consulting firms
I prefer Alteryx Platform to all the above products. In my opinion, the Microsoft products (Excel, Power BI) are inferior, cheaper alternatives to Alteryx Platform.
