Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan

Deloitte is contracted by various companies to build Anaplan solutions for them. Primarily we work in the tax, finance, and sales areas.

SAP HANA and Oracle Hyperion are great for data that comes from SAP and Oracle. They are less flexible when it comes to bringing in data from multiple sources. Anaplan is more flexible and easier to use than any of the alternatives we considered.
Anaplan is great for low-to-medium amounts of data (GL level rather than transactional level), multi-user scenarios, and anytime you want to manage data/functionality yourself rather than leaving it to IT. Anaplan shouldn't usually be used for massive amounts of data (billions of rows) or when you need a cheap solution.
