Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan
Internally, Anaplan is used for planning forecasts in regard to staffing. Each employee enters a forecast of allocated time to projects which are tracked against budgets. Actuals are sourced in from another source system. This provides management insight to budget vs actuals, staffing needs, and forecasting capabilities. Project managers have visibility into the project budget overtime.

Anaplan is more mature than those other platforms. It is great for larger organizations who have established planning processes with many users. It has a strong calculation engine for large data sets and advanced scenario modeling. Anaplan does come with a steeper learning curve than Planful. The implementation times may be longer due to the nature of the use case.

Anaplan has the ability to integrate with multiple data sources like ERP systems. This is crucial for our organizations to be able to plan against actuals. It also gives greater insight to what is going on in the business in one place rather than looking through different systems to get different answers.
I am happy with our selection, and I think it was the best fit for our organization. As we grow, we need something powerful and evolving for our unique business needs. Anaplan is ever evolving with new features and functions making the platform agile with the ever changing environment that we work in.
