Apple Numbers - Surprisingly Helpful Tool for Pastors.
Overall Satisfaction with Apple Numbers
I use Apple Numbers for various tasks in my role as a pastor. I use it to help plan conferences, organize schedules, and coordinate my preaching opportunities. I've also used it to keep track of how much money students in the youth group have individually raised through a plethora of fundraisers for our annual summer camp.
Pros
- Organizing Data.
- Collating different schedules into one schedule.
- Keeping track of conference registrants.
Cons
- Could make the function keys a little more intuitive.
- Could offer an increased variety of fonts.
- Could offer an increased variety of font colors.
- Helps me be more coordinated as a preacher, as a I preach 2x to 3x a week.
- Helps our church be more professional in implementing conferences, in which we host 200 to 300 attendees.
- Helps me keep track of my thoughts as we work with my 6 coworkers when we map out future programs at our church.
Apple Numbers is more aesthetically appealing than Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. I would say, however, that Microsoft Excel seems to have more tools and bells and whistles than Apple Numbers does. In that same vein, however, Apple Numbers has more bells and whistles than Google Sheets. One of the ways I think Apple Numbers eclipses the other two is the fact that I can access the program on my iPhone.
