Overall Satisfaction with Apple Numbers

I don't know anyone who uses Apple Numbers, except to close it when it opens or to convert Numbers files to Excel or Google Sheet files. It's not standard in any industry I know, and it seems to be used only when automated for MacBook users.

Pros

  • integrates with Apple and MacBook products.

Cons

  • Not easy for collaborative documents.
  • Also not great to use for anyone who's not an iCloud or MacBook user.
  • Not applicable - we don't use it and I don't know anyone who does.
If you use numbers, it's kind of like texting in blue and expecting everyone else to text back in a blue bubble. Not everyone uses Apple Suite software, nor is it standard for CSV files.
Sheets is better for collaborative sharing, and Excel is better for complex formulas and functions.

Do you think Apple Numbers delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Apple Numbers's feature set?

No

Did Apple Numbers live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Apple Numbers go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Apple Numbers again?

No

I'm assuming this would only be preferable if, for some reason, your company uses only Apple suite products and shares documents through Apple iCloud. I don't know any organizations, informal or formal, that use Numbers as a standard.
