Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

I create e-learning materials for contact center staff who work with our participants (for educational travel programs). We create knowledge based e-learnings about popular travel destinations, technical trainings on navigation and new policies & protocols, and soft-skill/scenario trainings to enhance service development.

Pros

  • Enables creativity for engaging interactive learning
  • Ease of updating/republishing files
  • Provides a variety of tools so creators can experiment with combining functionalities

Cons

  • Blocks in rise should be more customizable (size, fonts, other cosmetic touches)
  • Ability to save and track input answers for free-text fields in Rise quizzes/knowledge checks
  • Storyline auto-save!
  • I wish there was a way for learners to record themselves practicing/roleplaying talking points and saving the files/tracking in an LMS or for download.
  • More accessible course creation
  • More engaging materials leading to higher retention in staff
  • Saving time for creators
I use Rise, Storyline (often together but sometimes separate, I want to practice blending them more, and Review for collaborative feedback. We don’t use Reach but use Absorb as an LMS. We have the AI Assistant but I haven’t used it much yet. I have used ChatGPT to ask Storyline questions but it can sometimes be incorrect or make up fake info, so I want to try the built-in AI.
I haven’t used it much, but I will probably start by asking logistical questions about how to accomplish certain tasks, after attempting to build on my own, if I run into any roadblocks. I may ask for scenario creation, but at the moment, I prefer to come up with my own since our organization/product is very nuanced.
I have found it very easy and fun to learn, the tutorials are helpful, and anyone who has experience with similar apps should have an easy time learning it. I really only used PPT and Canva before. This is my first time using an interactive instructional design application and I found it very easy to pick-up.
I can’t really think of any since Articulate is the first application of its kind that I’ve used. I’ve only been using it since January 2025, so about 8mos, and I immediately felt like it was the tool I’ve been missing for getting creative with e-learnings and making content more engaging and interactive.
