Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR

We receive great support from Ascentis HR. Their response times are within acceptable ranges, and they are able to provide us the answers or direction we need to serve our employees in a timely manner.
Ascentis HR is used across our entire organization. We complete activities from recruiting to onboarding to reviews and beyond. It centralizes all employment, pay, and review history and attachments. It's a great tool during open enrollment, and setting up the Benefits Wizard is a relatively simple process yielding great employee response.
  • A central location for employee information, payroll, and benefits.
  • User-friendly in terms of administration and employee use.
  • Customer support is prompt and concise with their responses.
  • The system tends to run a bit slow.
  • There are an incredible amount of clicks or information required to review in reporting. Reporting is the least user-friendly piece of Ascentis HR.
  • It would be nice to drag-drop photos or attachments into the system.
We previously used ADP, which was out-dated and not right for our business. Ascentis HR does so much more and offers much more flexibility to our company. ADP felt antiquated versus the robust capabilities offered by Ascentis HR. Our employees noticed a profound difference in the user-friendliness, and we have had great feedback ever since making the transition.
I believe Ascentis HR serves our company well in all aspects, however, the reporting could be done better. Setting up a report for the first time can take upwards of 15 minutes, even when drawing the simplest of information. Once the report has been set up, running can take as little as 2 minutes, still however, you are required to click through all options of the reporting wizard before being able to generate the report.
