Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Jira

We using Atlassian Jira for the incidents management tool where on all cases gets raised for ay requirements in the project gets raised by Atlassian Jira and we work ont them and all updates will go via Atlassian Jira only,We use it very extensively and this is the only one tool we use as a incident and peoblems management.

Pros

  • Its holds data in very structured way
  • very good incident management
  • Problem management
  • change management

Cons

  • UI looks can be much better
  • Users management can be liitel more easier
  • It requires lot of learning before start of use
  • It does lot of stuff in our daily work so it has very good impact in our BAU

  • Performance in Change request and Case Management is really commandable

using Atlassian Jira as our first most tool to track all the bugs and respective follow-ups
and In a remote world, Atlassian Jira helps us to maintain tight communication and it connects with teams work across time zones and it keep track
of bugs in our project day to day life also integration with multiple application is very helpful
Performance and features compared to other tools here are really impressive and its very easy to use and it has very good support and it can do majority of tasks like Task ManagementResource ManagementWorkflow AutomationSupport for Agile MethodologDocument ManagementChange request and Case Management many more

Atlassian Jira tool's helps streamline project workflows, assign tasks and incidents, and monitor
project requirements by users.
For ITIL related tasks this suits very well for incident and problem management,
Also it holds all the incidents data and can be easily mapped to multiple 3rd party applications like github, pagerduty,jenkins so on.

100 - Primarily we use it for Task ManagementResource, ManagementWorkflow, AutomationSupport for Agile Methodology ,Document Management, Change requests and Case Management also all the data relates to any case it holds and if any bugs report we track via Atlassian Jira only till it gets a solution and implement.
100 - No specific skillset needed for managing Atlassian Jira any IT engineer can get adopt to this toolif he gets basic infomration on it and majority of tasks are self explenatory here.

We use Atlassian Jira very extensively for our daily work and it has lot features which are really needed to support project without Atlassian Jira its higly difficult to track the issues and keep the data stored which helps in future, Also complete case management is managed by Atlassian Jira along with problem management.

Atlassian Jira Reliability

Atlassian Jira is highly stable and good with its performance and its has all the required scalability features as business needs
Did not face any issues and whenever they plan maintanance they update all of us very well in advance also so in that view we are good with the product stability.
Performance is really good though it holds lot of data it loads quickly especially search operation also get the results very quickly as needed hence its good

Product is rellay good but pricing part I am not aware

Upgrading Atlassian Jira

  • we upgraded some time back and Atlassian Jira team supported its was smooth
  • slowness bug fixes, UI looks and performance issues
