Overall Satisfaction with Automox
We use Automox to patch all of our servers and Linux-based devices along with Microsoft Teams room Systems. This addressed the gap that we had when I first started where we had lost our WSUS server and SCCM server and we wanted something easier to use that was agent-based and could patch 3rd part software.
- Allows you to create static and dynamic groups that allow you to target machines
- They do a good job of reviewing input from the user base and making changes to the product.
- Made user interface easy to use. So easy that you can pick it up in 15 minutes.
- It would be nice to have a software inventory of what is installed on the machine
- ad-hoc scheduled reboots without using worklets
- previous patches to have the date installed
- The pane on the asset shows a log of what has been done to it and who did it. Rather than looking through activity reports.

- Kaseya VSA and Tanium
Price and ease of use of the product Automox hands down beat them. But those products also had a monitoring component to consider. But when looking at the monitoring component it wasn't intuitive and hard to implement.
