Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Automox to mass patch our computers to ensure they all are working properly, updated/patched, and have the latest security patches. We have around 150 machines that are utilizing Automox and are automatically added via intune.

Easily spot devices that have not been used for a long period of time.

Less time troubleshooting devices caused by software being out of date which means more time working on other projects.

Usability

Everything is easy to spot and easy to search for suspected device issues. Can view each piece of software installed on the devices easily and see if it need updated.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Intune

Automox is much easier to handle and has much better usability then Intune. Intune is difficult to use and did not offer what Automox offers.

The ability to patch and keep all of our systems updated and patched has solved many issues for us that are usually solved by a simple software update. It's perfect for most situations. I don't see a reason to not use it unless there are very few machines that need IT attention.
