Overall Satisfaction with BambooHR®

We changed to BambooHR® a little over a year ago and within the last 6 months have really embraced it for our HR department. It has completely streamlined our rather intensive onboarding and prehire process as well as operated as a more than serviceable ATS system. It allows quick communication, easy to follow instructions, and in system storage of the many HR documents required for each employee.

Pros

  • Communication - it allows seamless communication to new hires and our hiring team.
  • Customer support - the customer support team is always prompt and friendly and rarely leads in a wrong direction
  • Onboarding - the onboarding and task system have really saved a tremendous amount of time in the hiring process.

Cons

  • More custom options. Allowing us to tailor the ATS side especially to our unique needs.
  • More hiring reporting. Reports on applicants to hire, interviews to hire etc would be great
  • Onboarding has been the greatest improvement. It's allowed us to cut an entire extra position from our HR team and focus their time elsewhere when previously they were only handling onboarding.
  • File management and storage has had a great impact on the HR team also. Not having to do paper documents of any kind is a game changer.
BambooHR® is very easy to navigate. The only point I would like addressed is tying the employee profile and the candidate profile together for smoother navigation.
BambooHR® has let us eliminate most, if not all, HR spreadsheet tracking. It's completely change the way we track our employee bonuses, compliance items, background checks etc.

BambooHR® is best suited for companies that don't have a lot of variance in their employment base. The only slight hiccup we run into with the system is that we have multiple different office and a centralized recruiting team. If we had recruiting teams at each office things may be slightly smoother and operate the way BambooHR® intended.
