Overall Satisfaction with BambooHR®

We use BambooHR to track employees' work hours. Bamboo can also be used to submit PTO requests and review past timesheets. Lastly, you can set up related payment options such as direct deposit through Bamboo.

Pros

  • Tracks time worked.
  • Allows submission of time off requests.
  • Manage direct deposit options.

Cons

  • Access pay stubs.
  • Simple and easy way to log in/clock in.
  • Easy to request time off.
  • An easy approval process for time-off requests.
  • Easy to make retroactive time adjustments.
Overall, Bamboo is an excellent tool for our needs. It is easy to navigate the website and complete basic tasks.
We do not use Bamboo's reporting functions.

Bamboo serves some of our most basic functions, so we do not feel that it is significantly lacking in any areas. Of course, we are a very small business, with only about 20 employees. In situations with complex work and pay situations, it's possible that Bamboo might not be adequate for large employers.
