Bigin - great for small business simple to set up and use.
Overall Satisfaction with Bigin by Zoho CRM
We use Bigin as a simple, day-to-day sales and contact management system for our small consultancy business. We primarily use it to keep track of leads, follow-ups, deals in progress, and existing relationships.
The business problem it solves for us is custom stages for our unique pipeline stages, and ease of use. It beats out Monday (previously used as CRM) and, of course, Google Sheets. Our use case is fairly focused. We are not using it as a giant enterprise system with a huge implementation. We use it primarily for pipeline management, contact management, activity tracking, notes, and follow-up reminders. It helps us stay consistent in how we handle incoming leads and ongoing client communication.

Pros
- Bigin does a great job of simplifying our pipeline management by making it visual (and drag and drop).
- Keeping everything for a prospect or client in one place.
- Structure and accountability.
Cons
- The interface is clean, but I can see how, as we get into more complex workflows, it may be limited, whereas a heavier CRM may be necessary at that point.
- Mobile app works pretty well, it isn't quite as smooth as the web app.
- Reporting could be a little more robust, but it does what we need.
- Has improved follow-up and accountability.
- Saves time by keeping everything organized.
- Pipeline management without the overhead of a more complex system.
Close is a good product. But it's more complex and less approachable for some salespeople. Monday can be finagled to work as a CRM, but it's a lot of workarounds, and no interaction tracking or reporting. Salesforce is just cost-prohibitive and heavy for our current use case.
