Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud CRM

My organization made the switch from an older, more basic database, to Blackbaud during the Summer of 2017. I was in charge of the process and the reason we made the jump was that the other database was too simple, didn't have enough functionality, or even multi-user access. Since making the transfer, the organization added more and more functionalities.
  • Accurate collection of contact information.
  • Multi-user access.
  • Payment options.
  • Forms.
  • Increase on contact.
  • Increase on dollars raised.
Blackbaud is a big name brand, that has a lot of options for your organization. Since it has different layers, you have the ability to seek support from all of those layers whenever. There are organizations all around the world, so you have the ability to join support groups where you can find other organizations that are dealing with similar issues or things to figure out.
The support from Blackbaud is top-notch. Although it is mostly available through chat, they are able to solve most issues, guide you through the solution and also give you articles that you can save with the step by step instructions. So many times we were looking for very specific solutions to specific problems or issues, and the staff was very receptive and open to help.

If you are a middle-sized organization, Blackbaud will offer you several options where you can find the right solution for you. Once you join the Blackbaud product line, I consider it very viable for you to jump up or down between the different products. Sometimes you may need more functionality or less. If you are a small organization, with little contacts, it might not be appropriate for your organization to make the jump to Blackbaud.
