Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Education Management Solutions (formerly Blackbaud K–12 ON Solutions)

Our entire organization uses Blackbaud. I am mostly involved with the use of onCampus in my role. The biggest issue it addresses is allowing parents, teachers, and support staff to all see the academic progress to support students. Before, teachers had individual hard copy records and it made it difficult for information to be shared.
  • The UI is very appealing and intuitive.
  • The site is responsive when being accessed.
  • The UI is professional looking.
  • The changes that are made are unannounced and frequently happen during the school year.
  • Inability for the gradebook to convert percentages to letter grades.
  • Inability to mark student as present after marking them absent.
  • Very Poor
  • Systems do not function
  • There is no support
My only support is the Blackbaud community that I know of and even that is slow. We have an ongoing issue with student submissions and I have no timetable for a fix.
It's well suited for connecting the various aspects of the school together for the benefit of student learning. Some of my teachers find it too cumbersome to import their assignments but that is more due to the unwillingness of our teachers to learn ANY new system, rather than specifically onCampus.
