Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
BlackLine is used at LBrands across the organization, primarily for account reconciliations. It addresses the need for efficient month-end reconciliations with the ease of quick workflow approvals across multiple users.
- Auto-certification of accounts - decreases workloads for all users involved!
- Customizable templates - makes it possible for any account to be easily reconciled and documented
- Audit trail - helpful for internal and external auditors to clearly see the approval process
- A more simplistic variance analysis embedded in the account rec module would be helpful
- The responsiveness of Blackline could be improved (sometimes have to click buttons multiple times)
- Ability to clone items in all account reconciliation templates (not possible in amortizable template)
- Positive impact - increased efficiencies, associates can devote more time to other important tasks
