Blackline New User. Finally a solution that works for me!

We use Blackline Accounts Reconciliation, Tasks and Matching. We use Blackline in the accounting department and with our auditors and examiners. Auditors and Examiners have access as read only and this year during their review gave high marks to the software and it's ease of use. The tasks and month end closing process in Blackline has allowed transparency on where we are in the month end closing process. I no longer need to send an email or pick up the phone to ask staff where they are in the process. I can simply look at Blackline and see what still needs to be completed. The matching piece of Blackline is where the magic is. It's a powerful tool that is flexible and saves all the manual time in spreadsheets and highlighters 'ticking and tying' on account reconciliations. It also greatly reduces our errors and rework.

I would expand the pool of vendors. Since making the decision to purchase Blackline I've become aware of other products/vendors in this space that I would have added to the selection process.
