Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
We use BlackLine for Journal Entry and Reconciliation approvals within our organization. I am a part of the Internal Controls team, so our main responsibility within BlackLine is to audit these entries and use BlackLine's "Evaluate" feature to verify completeness and accuracy of the entries. When can then give each item a rating, and communicate with preparers and approvers directly in the platform.
- The interface is very clean and easy to navigate, making it very user friendly.
- The ability to communicate with preparers and approvers within the platform is a great feature.
- The ability to easily export items to PDF is great for auditing and documentation purposes.
- My only recommendation would be better reporting. The reporting feature is very customizable, but there are certain reports that do not exist or are difficult to find.
- Increased productivity for accounting and audit teams. Reduction in time spent allows for focus on other items.
- More detailed and easy to access audit trails.
BlackLine has helped bring our company into a much more efficient and automated way of doing things. This has made a very positive impact on productivity and accuracy.
