Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

We currently have task module, reconciliation and transaction matching. We did not as an organization optimize usage of this module and my goal is the optimize what we currently have.

Pros

  • User Friendly
  • Keeps up with the times

Cons

  • Be able to support multiple trees on the chart of accounts to have multiple views within BlackLine
  • I wish SAP and BlackLine would interact/interface automatically when tasks are completed rather than manually having to ceritfy a task is done
We have reduced the amount of time during close to ensure tasks are completed during the close period

We inputted all our close tasks in BlackLine eliminating calls during the close period by having each of the team members validate their tasks completed rather than being on the call
