We use Bloomfire to help manage information for completing tasks within our organization. The information can range from tips and tricks of jobs to resource PDFs that are easy for anyone to access at work or if they work from home. This ability to share easily information and at any time with everyone helps us reduce miscommunications, improve efficiency, and create a more fun work environment.
- Categorizing content can be tailored to meet your specific organizations needs.
- Searching/finding content is easy and intuitive because the search capabilities use every word that all your content contains.
- Grouping information that applies to each other is easy to create and understand with the types of contributions Bloomfire has.
- Creating your organization's Bloomfire page is painless because Bloomfire has a great setup process they walk through with new users.
- PDFs and videos are difficult to work with. The areas where they show are somewhat too small and making the PDF or video full screen takes up too much room if you want to work alongside the PDFs and videos.
- The automated lists add a number to any images that go with the lists. It can be taken out in the code but most of our users are not familiar with code and typing a list by hand takes users much more time to make their contributions.
- The aesthetics are not all changeable. Our users wish we could make the home feed back ground more interesting.
- We have had increase employee engagement.

I enjoy how Bloomfire is able to grow with the organization. Throughout the process, we kept categories and thumbnails general so that they could be improved in the future. There were times we even found that certain aspects would be better categorized different than some other areas. The searching capabilities are astounding! Because Bloomfire is able to recognize every word that has been put into it, our users are able to type in a few key words and find multiple contributions that can help them. With videos, a transcript is emailed to us after the video is uploaded in Bloomfire so we can add another resource for everyone in case they missed something from the video. I also enjoy the role designation where users have the capability to do certain actions in the platform. Then those who are in the thick of their jobs can easily contribute what information they know they need or that their coworkers need in order to complete their job.
