Bloomfire has helped our Knowledge Management team create an integrative resource tool that houses processes, procedures, and policies for our front-line representatives and agents. Since its inception, Bloomfire has worked with our specific requests and needs to enhance the experience, both for the creator (Author) and reader. This has then allowed us to expand responsibilities and roles to other departments by empowering them to contribute, edit, and support one another in the expansion of the knowledge base. Every year the ease of use becomes more intuitive and affords us efficiencies we did not have with our last knowledge database.

For us, it's set up as a special tool with articles to help us do our jobs. It's almost like a really user-friendly blog. We can ask questions on it and the answers are shown to help others. It's also set up with other apps we use daily and our time clock. Very very convenient, everything is in one easily accessible place. I like it a lot.

The only time I haven't been able to find what I need when using it I was able to ask my supervisor for help and they immediately posted my issue in an article that helped my fellow coworkers. Bloomfield is great for getting everyone on the same page.

We use it as a hub to hold all course materials across the network so all teachers have full access to everything they need. It's also used for all HR handbooks, school handbooks, etc.<br>

We use Bloomfire as a resource database for our learners. Our learners only have access to our LMS for a short period of time, once they lose access we use Bloomfire to communicate information and resources needed to provide customer service to our various clients. We have separate communities that represent those clients and provide product information and support, as well as Q&A for learners to get their questions answered.

Bloomfire is a program that is provided to us for quick research for company-related material. If we have a question or need a form everything is located in Bloomfire. Other directors may have questions and find answers quickly because there are so many other directors that have asked the same question. If we are looking up and need appropriate forms to fill out simply typing in keywords bring us straight to what we need.

I needed forms for a specific task I had a deadline for. I was in a time crunch and had to get it done quickly. I have the forms already printed out and saved on my desk but it takes time to go through the different folders and sometimes they are not in the correct folder or all used. So being able to go directly to the search bar and typing in keywords brings up any and all potential forms I may need. I was able to have access, print, and fill out very quickly and get my task done before the deadline.

This application has been an invaluable resource to not only house and share information, but also to engage our community to educate and support each other.

Bloomfire is our knowledge hub. We have all of our guidance, reference, and research saved there. We utilize Bloomfire a little differently as we only allow SMEs to update and post. Our users have the ability to flag posts but not comment directly about or respond to questions. Bloomfire has allowed us to not have multiple versions of guides, templates, etc. in use.
  • Allows insight into posts that are not utilized so the team can look into why, or if needed.
  • Allow to publish posts quietly.
  • Ability to follow and bookmark posts is a feature our team uses.
  • Allowing copy and paste from a Microsoft document and being able to keep the formatting.
  • The autosave feature, while nice, causes us to have many saved but not published posts. The correct post is published but the "starter" post is also saved.
  • Allow for view capability of email templates that are uploaded, without having to download to see them.
Bloomfire has been very well suited for our use. It's our one-stop knowledge hub. By design, we don't utilize the collaborative functionality. Any company that has information that needs to be shared, viewable by all or a subset, would benefit from Bloomfire. The management of content is very important, which is true regardless of the application being used. Implementing this solution without consideration of who will manage and curate content will result in outdated information quickly.

We are a data-driven company and being that it is the insurance industry, training and reference materials are essential on a minute-by-minute basis at times. Without this data and reference material, we are dead in the water. The managers in our company have striven to make sure we have that training and information at our fingertips at all times and the tool we use is Bloomfire.

Previously I used Bloomfire with my old employer where I posted questions and then responses would then occur to my question(s). My current employer uses Bloomfire for internal information, questions, and answers. I use a great tool and serve as an "information hub" for the organization. I have found that it is easy to use and navigate through. And I like when new postings are entered and I am alerted automatically.

Bloomfire is our primary tool for onboarding across different verticals at Kargo. When the new hires start, we choose a relevant vertical (e.g. business intelligence, revenue operations, product management) and then have access to a host of different training sessions. These sessions vary and can be in the form of videos or articles. The main problem Bloomfire addresses is needing to get employees up to speed quickly and efficiently, and allows employees to access the information most relevant to them.
  • Segments information resources by category.
  • Leverages video in tandem with slides/text to provide a diverse suite of learning formats.
  • Community access lets you know what people in your organization are working on currently.
  • I would recommend adding a feature to combine different posts/series by job title (so in addition to the Revenue Ops category, there could be a structured walkthrough for Revenue Manager).
  • Live Q+A sessions for group onboarding initiatives.
  • Ability to label bookmarks by priority/job type.
I think Bloomfire is most appropriate in a medium to large business entity since onboarding can be difficult without an organized tool to prioritize job functions. It would be most well suited for positions that incorporate data analytics/reporting and consist of regular deliverables. So for example: if an accountant wants to learn how to compile a cash flow statement but also has to turn it into a client-facing presentation, there are resources specific to internal accounting and then separate resources (also in the accounting vertical) for data visualizations and client reporting.

We use Bloomfire for all our install documents and training manuals. The only issue we have seen is that the search features are not that good. If we type in a specific word or part number many other results come up and the one we search for is on the bottom. Also, when clicking on the item you searched for and when you go back, it brings you back to the home page and not your results.

We use it to gain information and insight into our company and answer questions from within the department. People can post their questions or concerns and we have a team of people who have varying expertise in different areas who elect to answer.

  • I haven't found any areas that seem difficult to use, the platform is very simple.
Bloomfire has helped us to keep in touch with our areas where we perform well as well as where additional training may be needed based on the questions asked. If someone asks a question and there is a delayed or no response, this can indicate that additional training may be needed in a specific area.

The only problem I have with Bloomfire is the difficulty in finding exactly what I'm looking for.

We use Bloomfire to find our lesson plans and any other items our Corporation needs to share with us, which is great. Everything is in one place so to speak, but it is very difficult to find what you are looking for when you need it.

We use Bloomfire to document all of our processes, practices, and updates to our software. We also use it to allow employees to post questions for the rest of the team to view and answer. This tool is used by our entire Customer Success department (around 250 employees). We use this tool internally only.
  • They have many useful filter options.
  • I like that I can customize what email updates I receive.
  • The search was difficult to figure out and unfortunately doesn't work well with how we have always named documents/posted. We have many posts named along the lines of Company - Updates - Date. When you search the exact name of an article this way, it doesn't pop up, because Bloomfire uses "-" to exclude text from your search results. I didn't realize this at first, and it was very frustrating.
  • While I like the filter options, they aren't very prominently displayed, and I didn't even notice them until I had been using Bloomfire for quite a while. The majority of our team does not use these.
It is nice to have posts and questions in one place, instead of having a different system to handle each. I prefer this software to a previous one my company used, but sometimes the search is challenging, and that's my biggest problem with it. I do like how when you search, it will show you all of the articles with your search terms and allow you to see each place the term appears in the article before you select it. This is very helpful for our use of Bloomfire, because we have many settings in our software, and I need to be able to easily find articles pertaining to each feature.

We use Bloomfire to keep all staff updated on the constantly changing events around Las Vegas and our 14 properties. This program informs us about the shows, travel packages, and special events going on throughout our city. The layout of this program helps us find the information when we need it fast. I'm really happy with it. It's been great.

Our organization is spread across multiple states. Bloomfire is a platform where all the centers in the company can unite and access information as a whole. It is easy to use and search for anything needed from HR, payroll, operations, etc. This website has saved me so much time and effort by having all my answers in one place!

Finding forms or instructions on doing various HR procedures, payroll, and operations procedures. Often, our corporate office changes and updates forms and Bloomfire allows me to stay current and obtain the correct forms rather than reaching out to HR and asking them. I find as the company is growing, Bloomfire is becoming more valuable to our schools.
